An annual exam is the single most useful hour of your pet's year. We check nose to tail, talk through what has changed at home, and set a vaccine and prevention plan that fits how your pet actually lives.
What a Wellness Visit Includes
- Full nose-to-tail physical exam
- Core and lifestyle vaccinations
- Heartworm, flea and tick prevention
- Intestinal parasite screening
- Weight, nutrition and dental check
- A written plan you can take home
How Often Should We Come In?
Healthy adult dogs and cats do well with one visit a year. Puppies and kittens come in on a vaccine series, and seniors — roughly seven years and up — benefit from twice-yearly checks with bloodwork, because early kidney and thyroid changes show up long before you would notice them at home.
Bringing a New Pet?
Bring any paperwork from the breeder, shelter or previous clinic, plus a fresh stool sample if you can manage it. We will build the record from there and get you on a schedule.
