Digital Radiology

Low-dose digital imaging, read and explained while you wait.

When a lab test is not enough to uncover the truth about your pet's health, we turn to more advanced technology. Digital radiology (X-ray) lets us evaluate bones and internal organs without invasive methods — images appear in real time, and we walk you through what we are seeing.

What Digital X-Ray Lets Us See

  • Bones, joints and fractures
  • Heart and lungs
  • Abdominal organs
  • Swallowed foreign objects
  • Real-time image review with you
  • Electronic sharing with specialists when needed

Is It Safe for My Pet?

Yes. Modern digital radiology uses a low radiation dose and is completely non-invasive. Most pets need nothing more than a few calm minutes on the table, and sedation is only considered when a pet is in too much pain to be positioned comfortably.

What Happens With the Images?

Images can be analyzed in real time during your visit, and because they are digital, they can be shared electronically in minutes should the opinion of a specialist be necessary. If something looks wrong with your pet and you suspect an injury or illness, don't wait — call us right away.
