Does your pet need an operation? Surgery — no matter how routine — is something we take seriously. We treat every procedure as our most important task of the day: each patient is screened for safety, and the pain-control strategy is tailored to that individual animal. Being thorough is how we keep the risk of complication low and your pet comfortable.
How We Keep Surgery Safe
- Pre-surgical screening for every patient
- An individual pain-control plan
- Modern techniques and monitoring equipment
- Calm settling-in time before the procedure
- Vital signs watched by our techs throughout
- Recovery monitoring and written post-op instructions
What Procedures Do You Perform?
Our general surgery practice includes spay and neuter, numerous soft-tissue procedures and basic orthopedic surgery. For cases that call for a more advanced operation, we will gladly provide a referral to Oklahoma State University — and coordinate your pet's care on both ends.
What Happens on Surgery Day?
From the moment you drop your companion off, our support staff helps them settle in and eases their nerves — the calmer the patient, the better the process goes. After the operation we monitor your pet as they wake from anesthesia, then call you to arrange pickup, walk through post-operative care instructions, and answer any questions before you go.
